First attempt at calling cards

In March is the Cricut Stampede here in Dallas. Since there will be about 200 other crafters and many of them will be Circle members I am making calling cards. These are my first attempt. I used Storybook, Camp Out, Sentamental, and Car Decals.

my creation for the week

I have done very little creating this week. I have finally finished 12 invitations for a surprise 16th birthday party. The young lady in question was unable to have a birthday party in October (her grandmother was in town). So I am going to surprise her. The invitation was made using the Pagoda cartridge

Technically the young man on the right is my creation, just not this week! I took my son and his girl to the mall to hunt for shoes and could not resist this cute picture!

Cricut Circle weekly contest

This week's Circle Blog contest is BABY (brad, aqua, butterfly, and you). Here is my entry. It is about me and my niece Brittany. I used the Camp Out, Storybook, and Nifty Fifties cartridges. I did not put the picture on it since I did not get Brittany's permission to post it. I even did some journaling, I don't normally.

Catching up!

So it has been a long time since I posted anything. In my defense alot has been going on!

Thanksgiving was spent with almost all the family and photos with the family grandkids.

My wonderful husband, son, and (almost) daughter took me to a cabin in Oklahoma for my birthday weekend. And we went to a national park where we did some hiking. I learned that the Devil's Slide is not part of the playground.
How pretty is this cabin! It even had a hot tub, fireplace, and full kitchen.I have had a chance to do some crafting, here are just a few. With a bunch of new babies being born to co-workers I made a few custom frames. I purchased these at clearance prices and just added a few additions from Wall Decor and More, Black Letter, and New Arrival.

I was also able to make the party favors for the company Christmas Party. We had it at a steakhouse so I went with a western theme.

All the little toys and candy I bundled into little hankerchief santa bags and attached these little tags.I made the tags using 50 States, Old West, and Christmas cartridges.
